The last few weekends, I've been doing the Key Party challenges over at keys_in_a_pot. Basically they take 20 footballers and draw random pairings. Everyone writes a one-off sex scene with their pairing.

It's been a lot of fun, but tough as well. It's also been kind of theraputic for me, because I've been slowly trying to convince myself that I can commit to writing challenges and that I can write anything under any conditions. Not easy, but my brain found a way. I never have a shortage of plotbunnies, it's the writing part that's hard for me....I wasn't sure I would do more after the first one, but it's kind of habit forming. Free gambling....

Okay, awhile back, I was considering starting another journal for the Bel Ami related posts, to keep better track and keep my personal stuff separate. Then, clover71 suggested I make a community, where we could all post our fic, squee, pics, etc. and I think that's a really good idea. So, this is in the very early planning stage, but it needs a name. Does anyone have any suggestions, or comments, or concerns in general? I don't really know what I'm doing, so feel free to let me know if you have any ideas.

Sadly, 'sebastiansassisaholygrail' wouldn't fit. *sulks*

So, I'm researching male strippers(don't ask) and I found some hilarious videos of Jan/Pavel/Max/Whomever taking off his clothes. I give him about a five, because everyone knows most porn stars don't make very good strippers. Perfect example being Lukas in Boytropolis and that whole Marc Vidal photoshoot that reminded QT of Darkwing Duck. He's not too bad, I'd hire him for my bachelorette party.

In the first video, Pavel is stripping to some music from The Weather Channel and in the second, is undergoing some sort of military strip search to some Cold War era jam. Enjoy.( Read more... )

Urgh, so I'm up to my eyeballs in this rollercoaster ride of a BEL AMI ficlet. It started out as a drabble for my amusement after an email conversation I was having with quiet__tiger and it just spiralled into RPS infinity. Oh, but at least it has a plot and sex and a beginning, middle and end. Have I completely lost my mind? Um, yeah. Has it gone way beyond crack? Oh, yeah. Let's just say when you have to wake up and watch Alpine Adventure for research, it's a very happy day.

BTW, Does anybody know about what the word count limit is for an LJ post? I'll probably post it in small chapters all at once when it's completed. I still don't exactly trust my writer's block to stay away forever, after all these years of not being able to really write. But, I haven't felt like this since 2005, where I know every plot point, conversation and character's reaction from beginning to end, so that's a really good sign. (:

Be sure to look for the neon pink short shorts, they're ultra hot. I kinda feel like a perv looking at this, even though Johan was over eighteen at the time and is about the same age as I am. Omg, the 90's, seriously!

Andy Hallet, who played Lorne on the Angel series, died. He died from congestive heart failure and he was only 33. How sad.

I want to write some sort of a ficlet. Most likely Bel Ami related. I keep turning over ideas in my head and I never seem to land on anything. I've considered possibly taking prompts if anyone has a delicious idea. I would even entertain the possibility of crazy crossover pairings, fictional, RPS, what have you. If I can't make it happen, I may go for writing, "Slutbucket: The Dano Sulik Story". I think it could be a Lifetime movie, yo. (:

I thought this was so cool. Zootoo.com is having an animal shelter makeover contest in which they will give away a million dollars to the shelter they finally choose. Shelters need to be voted into the top twenty and then will be evaluted to see who can do the most with the money. I'm supporting St. Louis Stray Rescue, but there are tons of shelters listed HERE if you want to go and support your local shelter. There's a link that tells you how to give them points on the main page.
